JUMP ON IT!!!

We went to JUMP ON IT with Jimmy, Lachelle, and Chloe. It was a lot of fun. We had never been there before so I didn't know how Taylor would do. After she warmed up a little she did great. She LOVED it. We had a blast. It was fun for the adults too! And Chloe and Taylor played so well together!

Mickey Mouse

In a few posts back I mentioned how Taylor LOVES Mickey Mouse! Well she made out pretty good from her Birthday and Christmas. Grandma Pam even picked up the Mickey cutout! She loves it and gives it kisses all the time! Lets hope this phase lasts for a while. We have plenty of Mickey stuff. It's so sweet how she has such an innocent love for Mickey and all his friends of course! I actually love that she loves Mickey so much!!! It's really so sweet!

YES! She has to sleep with Mickey too! Notice that the blanket is also MICKEY!

Christmas Day!

What a wonderful Christmas we had this year! Taylor was so fun to watch, although I don't think she really gets it yet! We woke Taylor up around 8:30 and she didn't want to get up, until I told her I think Santa brought her some MICKEY stuff! Then she was up! We opened presents, ate our yummy breakfast casserole, Uncle Jimmy came by and we did some more presents, and then we were off getting ready and heading to Grandma and Grandpa Johnson's house. We did more presents there, ate more yummy food, and had lots of fun! We went to Grandma Pam's at 4:00, and yet again opened more presents, and had a wonderful dinner! Unfortunately my Grandma who was here from Chicago got sick and my mom took her over to the hospital. She is still there now with phenomena. I feel so bad! I am sure this will be the last time she will ever come out again! It's just too hard on her! So we are praying that she gets feeling better soon.
We had a great time at my mom's. So good I didn't get ANY pictures! What was I thinking? (so mad about that) We were there until 11:30 just having a great time! We played a few games that just kept us rolling all night! Jimmy was in charge of them, and if you know Jimmy you know that he is quite competitive. I will admit, I am too! But we had lots of fun! I am grateful for such a great family! I love that we can all be together and have such a great time! That's what Christmas is all about to me! I love building those relationships and making memories! So thanks Family for such a fun filled night! We love you all!

Santa brought lots of fun toys! Taylor got a bike and she loves it! She wouldn't open any other gifts because she just wanted to play with it!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with Brett's family at Grandma Jarretts house! It was lots of fun! We ate, played games, and just enjoyed everybody! We got home at a really good time and were able to open up our Christmas P.J.'s, we set out our goodies for Santa, and we were able to help watch an adorable puppy! Santa needed help and we enjoyed every minute of it! Especially Taylor! I like a puppy is in our near future!

Taylor's Birthday Party!!!

What a fun birthday we had for Taylor! We had a cousin party at Jungle Jim's Playland. It was a lot of fun. Of course it was MICKEY MOUSE themed. I made the mistake and put Taylor on the roller coaster for the very first ride. Let's just say I didn't see how fast it went before we attempted it. Totally my fault! WHOOPS! Taylor wouldn't go on any rides after that. O-well. She still had a great time and ran around like a crazy women! She loved having her cousins there with her. Thank you everyone that came and for the generous gifts! Taylor is truly loved!!!

Brett and I were putting everything away, and we looked down and this is what we saw. She was laying on the MICKEY that Grandma and Grandpa Johnson gave her, and then she was pushing the button on the MICKEY that sings the HOT DOG DANCE that Grandma Pam got her! She really loves MICKEY! And I love that she loves it so much! It truly makes her so happy!

When we got home Taylor opened a few more presents from mom and dad! She got this princess dress up and loved it!

Rex Family Christmas Party!!

We had our Rex Family Christmas Party last Sunday and it was a lot of fun! We had lots of nummy food, Grandma Pam passed out P.J.'s, we did the nativity, and opened lots and lots of presents! It was great! The kids all exchanged gifts with each other, and the adults did as well. This year the adults also did a white elephant! It was really fun and I think a new tradition we will continue to do.

Our first family photo
I can't believe that my sweet little girl is 2 today! It seems just like yesterday that she was born! It's amazing to me how much she has changed in these 2 short years! I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to be a mom! I am grateful everyday to my Heavenly Father for bringing this sweet spirit into our lives. I am so grateful for an amazing Husband who I get to spend the rest of eternity with! I really am the luckiest girl!
Taylor is changing so much, and every day I am amazed at how much she knows and learns. Taylor is obsessed with Mickey Mouse right now. We are having a Micky Mouse Birthday today! Everything is Mickey Mouse!! Taylor is talking up a storm and says pretty much anything you ask her to. She can count to 10. She is so sweet and always tells Brett and I that she loves us, she's also filled with lots of kisses! She is the sweetest and the cuddliest little girl. She always wants to be loved. I love this little girl with all my heart. I can't wait to see what the years to come will bring.
Happy Birthday Taylor! Your Mommy and Daddy love you very much!!!

It's hard to believe that my sweet little girl will be 2 next week! Taylor has changed so much this past year it's crazy. I have the sweetest little girl there is. She is always giving me kisses and telling me that she loves me. I am so grateful that I get to be her Mom. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father who blessed me with such a sweet spirit. I have over 70 amazing pictures and I don't know how I am going to narrow it down. Her name is Skye Johansen (www.skyejohansen.com). I highly recommend her!

Since Taylor is a Christmas Baby I thought it would be fun to do some Christmas one's too! So cute!!!

Santa Claus

Taylor wasn't so happy about me placing her on Santa's lap. I know I am a mean mom, but how could I pass up Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Ward Christmas Party!!

I am really going to try and update our blog better so that one day I can print it! So sorry for all the writing but I am kinda using this as a journal as well.
So Brett and I are in charge of the Activities for our ward. A calling I actually love! Anyone that knows me knows that I love parties, and planning, and getting everything just right. So we had our Ward Christmas Party on Saturday and it was great! It's even better now that it's over!
So from all the planning and getting things put together the night was a complete success! We were planning on 300 people, but I think we had just over that. Pretty good hun! We went over to the church and started setting up at 11:45. And stayed until about 9:30 at night. Thanks to a lot of help from people staying and picking up! We have such a great ward and so many great people in our ward!
We had a fabulous dinner, we had Ham and Chicken catered in, and it was amazing. The ward members signed up to bring funeral potatoes, salad's and rolls. And we had 6 Costco cakes for desert!
For the Entertainment we had Clayton Productions come and perform some Christmas songs. It was a great performance and I think all the kids were quite entertained. Tabitha got a great video of Taylor and Lincoln having a great time! (Thanks again Tabitha for watching Taylor while I ran around like a crazy women!) I was actually in Clayton when I was younger and thought it would be fun to have entertainment.
And to top the night off we had Santa and Mrs. Claus! They were great and the kids loved it!
I owe my husband a huge THANKS for helping me with everything. He was my committee. He is always so willing to do anything I ask, even if he thinks it would be better a different way. I am so grateful for him and all that he does for our family. How did I ever get so lucky! I love you babe!
